The Glenfiddich 26yo Grande Couronne 750ml 43.8%abv

The Glenfiddich 26 Year Old Grande Couronne is a prestigious single malt Scotch whisky that stands out in the distillery's esteemed Grand Series. Its name, meaning "Crown" in French, signifies its luxurious and celebratory nature, designed for special occasions. This expression undergoes a distinct finishing process that contributes to its unique flavor profile. Grande Couronne is initially matured for 26 years in a combination of American and European oak casks, acquiring a foundation of rich and elegant flavors. Its "crowning glory" comes from an extended finish, which can last up to two years, in meticulously selected French Cognac casks. This finishing process imparts lavish layers of sweet toasted oak and velvety aromas, enhancing its complexity.
